Why clean, then cut it all up, and then clean again, when you can cut, then clean? All I've done to the actual physical unit is remove the rotted backpanel (which I'm going to replace completely). I just finished marking off one of my potentially two DB15 gameport wiring harnasses.

Gonna go scavenge some lumber so I can start mounting the PC boards so I can start running wire and figuring out component placement.

well, i guess i meant when you're ready to show us pics of everything complete...

The lighting here is TOTAL ASS. Either the flash glares everything out, or the camera can't get enough light to focus. Now that I think about it, the obvious solution is autofocus with flash, then kick it into manual focus and shoot again with no flash
