Give me a break dude, Alienware is a good company that makes nice PCs. I actually think his PC looks cool. I also think case windows look tacky.

Lowest I could come up with was $2,577 for a similarly speced computer.

Not including software, monitors, speakers, keyboard, mouse, etc.

Also some benchmarks would be nice.
Maybe something that shows there is a 3.2c, a 9800 pro, and 2gigs of ram in there.

Wow, that is a good deal! Can you overclock the processor a little bit? I guess you can still find good deals on Ebay now and then.

And have you run some software to make sure that you really got all of that stuff?

No sorry guys. I paid full price for it, i was just sick of everyone saying Alinware is a rip off. I paid about $4200 a month ago. It's alot, but im happy with it.

I ain't really benchmarked it, but on UT2003 i can set it to max everything at 1600x1200 and it rarely drops below 90fps.

It's a nice PC and I'm sure you're happy with it. Alienware has long been good. What I dislike is that they're pimpin' those PCs at Best Buy and that sort of thing. Plus, the case is fugly!

I wish I had $4200 to spend on a PC. I priced out my dream machine yesterday and it came to about $4000. Now I just gotta find $4000 somewhere.

I'll assume you mean me with this one. My case isn't much different than the Antec that houses your PC. POS?

My only gripe with Alienware besides the case being ugly is the price. He should have started posting and reading forms long before he paid $4200 dollars for a PC with an intel board, an extra gig of ram that won't be used, and the worst price/performance cpu ( a month ago now we have the P4EE for that). It is not hard to build your own PC. I paid $1300 for mine sans monitor and I assure you it will smoke the $4200 Alienware. People assume becase it is expensive it is the best and Alienware feeds on that.
