I like smaller cars. I'm a fan of handling as I love driving down them back country roads.

Looks like you go to Rutgers..i'm in central NJ too and went to Rutgers. Now my question is..where are these back country roads you speak of? 😀

great choice man. Engine bay looks spotless.

remember first thing you wanna do is make sure all recalls done. Then new header, then loctite BF valve screws. Neither is hard to do.

Hey sorry bout the late posts. I been having too much fun drinking and driving my car (NOT at the same time!). Dude guess you don't live in NJ. Go up 287N for 15 or 20 minutes. You'll hit the burbs (Hit up Bridgewater and especially Hillsborough). They got a lot of twisty farm roads between the two towns. Not saying that Bridgewater is farm country (far from it), but they're there and man are they fun.

Civic Si or RSX-S > Sentra Spec V

If you want the 4 doors, just save the up more money and get the WRX

You don't say???

$21k/$24k > $17k

Hit the nail on the head dude. Everyone keeps saying "oh save up just a bit more money":
1)I'm scared to drive my old car cause I think it's gonna die. It's also very hard to have the ladies take me seriously in that POS 🙂
2) "Save up a bit more" is still like 3 or 4k more. I don't think people appreciate the value of 4 THOUSAND DOLLARS. I got my Spec V for 13k pretax. Find me a god used RSX-S with low mileage that's under 17k in Jersey and i'll be thoroughly impressed. Civic Si is basically the same deal.

You know, I'm gonna take the car in for a full inspection (for insurance) but I wanted to ask the car guys here beforehand. I did hear a noise coming from the car.. it's like a high pitched belt noise. It sounds just like when I had a worn timing belt on my old car (belt slipping). However, I know that the Spec V uses a chain instead of a belt. Could this noise be normal or is it something else?

If it's anything like my nissan, it could be the power steering belt or the alternator/compressor/serpentine (call it what you will) belt. Though my squeals didn't start until 103k-ish.
