just got situated, they hooked me up w/ a dell laptop with 3G wireless (already paid for and setup), i've never had a laptop and this one is awesome! has widescreen, 9600pro, dothan 2ghz, 1GB of RAM!! I can play games wirelessly anywhere anytime!! not so great on the ping times and occasional lag but i cant complain. also got a 20" nec lcd for dual display too, im gonna be doing web design and help on network installs. plus i got a hefty raise over my last gig and tons of benefits (health, dental, 401k) w00t is me!!

edit: oh yeah, and today is my birthday!!
 
so, im guessing those 100% wool kneepads were comfortable enough for you... glad to hear you got a couple hours of 'work' in with no discomfort from them.

Did they give you any work to do?
 
we're just getting started, they moved in a new building so im just getting the design part setup and helping out on setting up the network. my first project just came in, making some sample sites, only takes me an hour to get stuff like this done usually. so i'm chillin.
