I only recently discovered that the podcasts available on iTunes are mp3s, and not some proprietary DRMed junk, so I've been listening to them all day at work.

Anyway, I don't know about you guys but I find it really satisfying to hear pseudoscience, myths, and paranormal mumbo jumbo discussed and debunked by a panel of experts!

The latest episode is on: Organic Milk, Apocalypse 2012, SETI

Podcast Host Steven Novella, MD
Dr. Novella is an academic neurologist and full-time skeptic. Each week he heads up a hard nosed discussion of the latest in science and pseudoscience.
With Our Regular Panel of Skeptical Rogues:

Robert Novella - The Nanotech Freak
Rebecca Watson - The Skepchick
Evan Bernstein - Almost Too Nice to Be A Skeptic
Jay Novella - Master of Satire
Featuring: "Randi Speaks"
The uncompromising observations of a veteran skeptic:
A weekly commentary by master magician and skeptic James Randi.

I would be much more inclined to listen to this type of stuff if the people hosting them weren't so intolerably arrogant in their delivery. Granted, I have not listened to THIS episode, but previous episodes and others like it.

I agree with CrazyHelloDeli.
It really burns me up when a "scientist" acts like a pompous arrogant asshole.
Just because we all think organized religion is bogus, doesn't necessarily make scientific proofs 100% correct.

The "arrogance" is justified when you have people claiming vehemently that they saw a spaceship, when it's clear they saw a bunch of lights take off, move apart, and continue flying. People like "celebrity psychics" and "mediums" need to be treated with contempt- they deserve it for exploiting emotionally vulnerable people.
