My new computer plans

I am bored so :p What do you thing of my plan.

1) Ask for a new videocard for x-mas $200 - $300
2) Replace old video card with new one
3) Give mom old video card
4) Save up $5 - $10 a week until next summer
5) Replace mobo/ram/cpu with all my money I hid from myself
6) Give mom my old mobo/ram/cpu
7) Have mom buy new ps to power her new hardware


Here are my current specs:

Microsoft Windows XP
Abit KT7A-RAID
AMD Athlon @1335 MHz (9.5 *140.5)
512 MB Crucial ram (2 x 256)
Elsa Gladiac GeForce2 GTS w/ 32 MB
2 Maxtor 60 Gb @ 7200 rpm
no floppy :( (won't work in XP)
Acer 16x DVD drive (POS, it broke before and ripped up a cd, I fixed it but am scared to use it)
TDX 12x/10x/32x burner
other pci cards but blaaaaaaaaaaa

I don't know why my floppy won't work. It works outside of windows, and on everyone elses computer. It pisses me, off. I had it working one day for 10 minutes but that was it. After like 4 or five formats on it I gave up and yanked it out.

Did the disks work in the other machines? Perhaps windows noticed that there were bad sectors and didn't let you use the disk?

yes GermyBoy, it won't even read win boot discs which I can read outside of windows.
