I don't know about you, but I'd rather not have to turn my head 180 degrees every time I want to look from the left side to the right side.

Resolution > Size when using it as a computer screen

and yea its too close. thats why apple 30" is 4k res, you need more pixel density for desktop use up close. 1080p is only acceptable at a distance at that size.

Iwould rather just use that as a TV from really far away rather than as a monitor that displays reallly really big letters

I use a 42" and it's pretty nice. I sit probably 3 feet away. I watch a lot of tv and movies on it too.
