LOL, you guys are probably right....the bottom line is

THE CAR ROCKS. I DON'T CARE IF AN 85 YEAR OLD WOMAN OR A 16 YEAR OLD KID OWNED IT, WHOEVER DID TOOK DAMNED GOOD CARE OF IT. :p

That's cool, nothing wrong with that. We're just saying watch out for people piling the BS deeper and higher.

As long as all the maintenance was done correctly and on time, it'll probably be fine.

Well, it was a "GM certified used car." if that means anything. Like I said before, I have that extended three year warranty on it so if anything goes wrong, they will fix it! :)

GM Certified Used means it's been through a 115 point inspection. Feel good about your car. :)

Very nice!! Looks exacly like our old one except 2 doors. Too bad this wasnt last month, we could have traded floor mats with you before we turned it in.

Good job getting the 3 year warranty. They really fix everything not due to normal wear and tear. Replaced a blown rear speaker even.

What dealership did you buy it from?

Thanks for the PM with the link. Dont know exactly where you live but maybe Ill see you on the streets.

Nice! Good thing you got the GT. The 4-cyl on the cheaper Grand Am is a 100K engine. After that, you'll shell out big time.

I know this has been covered, but I don't see why it couldn't have been a lady's car. Maybe not TOO old a lady, but probably a responsible adult type. She might have liked Grand Ams (plenty of chicks do) and she just went in and said "give me everything." It was probably leased, because of the age of the car and how close it is to 36,000 miles. People who lease MUST take good care of the car. It was also in Florida, and I defy you to find a car registered in Florida the DOESN'T have tinted windows.

a) tinging their windows
b) driving sporty v6 coupes

I do like the interior on those cars though, its very sporty adn the car does pick up nicely

Ahhh... My 80+ year old grandmother just got a Brand NEW 2003 GrandAm 2-door Ram Air GT V6. It has the roof and chrome wheels.

Never use a Fram oil filter on it and use 10W30 year round and that motor will go as long as you take care of it. Good car.

Probably right - and in regards to thinking the salesman wouldn't lie no he may not "lie" strictly. Perhaps it was a 40 year old lady. Or perhaps a 35 year old guy owned it but lent it to his mother sometimes. It was probably not owned by a teen but plenty of people who are not old ladies will take care of their cars.

It's very unlike an old lady to buy a car like this.

You must have missed my post above then....

And my aunt had a skyhawk with chrome wheels, high output 4vyl with a 5speed.

So you never know :)
