Sorry, I missed the question in your first post and thought it was a blog.

My 74GB Raptor Mk1 is in retirement: it's barely faster than than the large, high-density 1+TB disks I'm now using, while being hotter and noiser. Do you have plans for an SSD in the near future?
 
as of a couple of weeks ago my raptor died and it was out of warranty so i junked it and i was using a 250GB IDE drive and now i got a 400GB 7,200RPMS sata drive for its replacement.

yea i know its a crappy wireing job but i havnt finished the inside yet. once i do i will do a good cable management setup

Well, a good cable management requires planning and thinking ahead, such as routing cables underneath the motherboard when possible.

OK i took EVERY thing out and did the best cable management job i could do with all of the PSU wires and case wires. most of them are hidden but the ones that wouldnt fit behind the mobo panel were stuffed in the empty hard drive cage from the back.
