My new boss is so cool...

I need a half a day off today and I know I don't have any vacation or personal time accumulated, because I've only been at my new job for a month. She asked me to claim the half a day on my time sheet as an excused absent, which means I still get paid.

This new job is awesome.

My responsibility is to review engine replacement claims and approve or denied based on technicians comments and warranty history.

I get about 5-6 requests a week; the rest of time is spent doing much of nothing and teaching my boss HTML.

BTW, did I mention the pay is 20% higher than my last job at Ford.

That is sort of like my new job. But if I take any vacation time the work piles up big time.

Our boss buys us pizza each week....we were just sitting outside on the picnic bench chatting and eating in the bright sunshine.

I just gave my boss a generous 4-month notice about my intention to leave the company. So the rest of my time here will be spent preparing training materials for my replacement (and I can work from home if I want.)

Now all me needs to do is find a job to pick up in January...
