haha aint that the truth!
that thing is a rocketship but is definatly not tossable..

How does shifting on a moterbike work?

In linear fashion, 1 down, 4 up with neutral between 1st and 2nd

So, if you want to up-shift, you put your toe under the shifter and pull up. If you want to down shift, put your toe on top and push down.

Take it off any sweet jumps? Seriously though, busa's kick butt. I really like the sv650, why did you get rid of it. I guess I live in a small town so the v-twin power was nice, my r6 had to spin to many rpms in town to get any real power. Congrats!

You do realize the Hayabusa is the fastet street bike in regular production?

And most of the time it's not the bike or the rider that causes the accident, it's the damn cager that causes it by not paying attention.

Sweet bike.

Difference is that BentValve and Winston Smith are more experienced riders who sharpened their teeth on more forgiving bikes. Hevnsnt is headed for problems, I warned him of that, but it apparently fell on deaf ears.

You're right, cagers are often times the cause of the accident. But an experienced rider knows how to anticipate what the cagers are doing, knows how to keep an eye on everything going on around him, and finally has enough control of his machine to circumvent the problems when they do arise. Hevnsnt will have none of these skills, and he's starting out on a machine that does not suffer inexperienced riders, even when compared to other super sport bikes. It is comparable to learning to ride a horse on an ornery thoroughbred. Disrespect your machine and it will throw you. Problem is that a beginner has no idea what sort of respect is needed. You're basically throwing darts blindfolded.
