there is a recall on your engine.
Go get it fixed ASAP.

Nice car.
Congrats

effective only only pre-2003.5 M3s. but regardless, the recall was already done even though there was nothing wrong.

<---- Very VERY JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is my DREAM car! i want to get a 2001 if possible (for the $$$ reasons) in a year or so, but oh man oh MAN that is by far my FAVORITE car in the world! (in a real sense).

but yea, how much did you pay for it?

You need this one instead.

That's my buddies 01, Carbon Fiber black (Blue, Black and Purple depending on the angle), with some kicking 19'' deep dishers, and all kinds of electronic goodies (12'' subs x 2 in the trunk, laptop with completely wireless internet hooked up to a touch screen on the dash, ect ect).

But still, not a bad choice. My only complaint with modern M cars is how fat they've gotten, and the severe lack of the true stick shift. The M3 CSL doesn't even have one, and the new M5 won't either.
