My daughter was born Sunday morning.
Three and a half weeks early and she was 8 lbs 1 oz :Q:Q:Q

Lucky for your wife she was taken out early!

Congratulations! I know you're so very proud of such a beautiful girl. Cherish her always (even through the terrible twos and the endless teenage years!)

that's the exact weight my daughter was...so all i can say is...OUCH :)

congrats!

wow she has a bunch of hair! when my daughter was born she just had peach fuzz. hmm come to think of it she still hasn't got much now heh.

She's actually even cuter today. Less puffiness and swelling on her face.

Well, I can only guess, but I think my wife would agree.
Our first two were 9lb 9oz and 9lb 14oz though. Then my wife lucked out with a 7lb 3oz'er for the third.
She was hoping this one would be another small(or average I guess) one. But when the ultrasound estimated 9.5 lbs, we started doing everything we could to get labor going. Luckily it worked and labor went pretty fast.

Our last one was pretty much bald until she was 2. And all of them have been totally blond. So we were pretty amazed to see all that hair.

Actually, if you think about it, it's kinda silly to even try to sleep when you know you are going to be awakened in an hour anyway. So I might as well just stay up and play some BFV in between diaper changes.:D
