then i wanted to spray paint them. so instead of just spray painting the mdf cuz mdf will absorb it like mad, i had some fiberglass resin laying round, mixed it up, and then put it on. since the boxes were already built i wanted to get it done so i slapped it on. and then never sanded them, would take to much time.
thats the story, but the speakers sound different with the resin applied now.

different in a good way? hehe, at least they'll last forever this way 🙂 I decided to go with the br-1s because they're pre-finished. I can worry about perfecting my wood and painting skills on the next project, lol.

Because that amp doesn't have a dedicated headphone amp section, thus anything headphone you plug into it, especially high impedence headphones like sennheiser, will sound like crap.
