My p4 2.4@3.24 get slike 3600's for estimated PR...My wifes 2100+ oc'd to 2700+ levels gets 3000's for estimated PR...

I am basically saying I don't think sandra sees it possibly right!!!

my 1700 + OCed to 2.06ghz has an estimated PR of 2981

Ok there is something bad wrong with my video drivers.
When I use the new ati a lot of the images on websites do not load how ever if I use the drivers that came with the card every thing works fine.
I have tried different drivers including the new ones from Sapphire but I get the same prob.
Is there anyway to remove all traces of these damn drivers. And start a fresh.
I cannot format I have everything set up for my job on the pc.

I have now clocked the CPU back down because I would like to run some stock test.

I'm sure the drivers on the CD are CATALYST drivers of some sort. Do you know which version they are?

The latest drivers from Sapphire are most likely just rebadged CAT 3.8s. Some have indeed reported having monitor and overheating issues while using the CAT 3.8s, but I don't know if you're experiencing the same problem.

Your best option is this forum at Rage3D. And since you can't format, I suggest reading this thread over at Rage3D.

Stock CPU speed and no over clocking on the video card.
5850 3dmark.
I may have solved some of my problems. Again I think the probs with this system benching is my fault.

6257 New 3d mark with some tweaking.
Just remember that I do have programs running and 30 gigs on my hardrive.
These benches I guess you could call more of a real world type test?
Anyway I think I am happy the way every thing is at the moment.
6257 is that a good 3d mark? I really don?t know.
My video card will not over clock much at all. I think that is the systems biggest prob.
I would love some suggestions.
Thanks for everyone?s help.

I was asked to post some pics so I will do this later.
Thanks everyone and if anyone has this card let me know, how to overclock it.

GTaudiophile thanks for the links, I am running the new ati drivers again now

Nice overclock, 2.2ghz, does you're board have AGP/PCI lock and multiplier adjustments? Or are you just increasing the FSB to see how much tolerance you're devices will give you?

put the AGP "overclock" back to 66!! that will fix alot of problems that u'll have if I am right that that is the AGP frequency. AGP does NOT like to be played with it can cause alot of artiphacts and screw up stuff

PCI bus stays on 33 and AGP bus stays on 66. Anything a good amount above/below can cause lots of problems. Hence, PCI/AGP locks are very useful for FSB overclocks.

Me <3 me nForc3 2 PCI/AGP lock.

Seriously, you should set your AGP Freq. back to 66MHz. Overclocking the AGP bus is counterproductive.
