I just built my new pc and I have to say I am impressed.
I wanted to say thanks to everyone for their advice and help.
Below is what I decided with.

I am in no way a fan boy of any cpu .and over the last 5 years I have had the pleasure of owning the latest and greatest pc products, because of my job.
I just came from a p4 2.8 and an xp 2700+ and this CPU is great, for those that are considering buying a 64 it is well worth my money.i would buy it again
Now I was a NVIDIA fan but not any more. I am very pleased with my new ati.
Thanks again and if I can answer any questions just let me know

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
GA-K8NNXP
ATI SAPPHIRE RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB
Mushkin 1GB PC 3500 Level 2 Dual Pack

HD 160GB|SEAGAT
ZALMAN CNPS7000A

Are you running that on sandra 2004??? The reason I ask cause I find it funny you have the chip 200mhz oc'd and the pr estimated is 3300...Usually on all amd's I have ever seen that is much higher then even the amd pr rating....

My p4 2.4@3.24 get slike 3600's for estimated PR...My wifes 2100+ oc'd to 2700+ levels gets 3000's for estimated PR...

I am basically saying I don't think sandra sees it possibly right!!!

I make 3d models for video games and so on.

I know nothing about bench marking so do you have a link to download 3dmark? Thanks

Nice! now u gotta OC ur R9800Pro like me! I've already hit R9800XT speeds. here's the download link for radclocker, lets you change GPU/mem clocks from the display properties > advanced tab, there's other utilities out there. I got lucky on my card with 400Mhz Samsung DDR ram 2.8ns

Is it just me? Or do those 3dmark scores seem low for a 9800 pro? My Rig with a 9700 pro gets 53xx.

I still think it is strange for 220mhz clock increase he gets an estimated Pr rating of only 130....Sandra 2004 with a Barton 3200+ gets above that...what is the deal??

So how is that memory tweaked??

AMD cut back on the PR rating, it's suppose to be much more conservitive on the 64 this time around.

OK!! I guess then the question would be is what did sandra 2004 say the estimated PR was at default 2.0ghz 3200+???
