The buldgening to death sounds like it's personal, so perhaps someone was taking revenge. As nothing else besides the car is mentioned missing and there was no reported damage to the house it sure as hell sounds personal! Perhaps, but your analogy doesn't apply because (1) it wasn't my child and (2) the convictions against the murdered individual date back to the '60s and the other accusations back to the '50s. That is too long ago for me to condone this recent murder.
If this is some other and newer issue against the person, it should have been addressed by means of police and the court system.
