He is one of those guys that stands at the end of his driveway monitoring everyone's movements. He gives a shitty fake wave when I see him, but I can tell he is mumbling something under his breath. What makes it worse is that he is on the home owners association, so he thinks its his duty to keep track of everyone.

Well tonite I had just got done working my shift at the animal hospital. Its a crappy job but it pays the bills while I am in school to become a vet. I had to put down this old lady's lab that she had for something like 15 years. I held both their hands while Sady slipped away. I was so sad by the time I got home that I decided to take out my frustrations on my lawn. I was still in my scrubs when I smelled smoke and heard a commotion. I guess a house the next block over was on fire. The tool neighbor comes out and starts running up and down the street. I'm not sure what he was doing but he looked like Shaggy after him and Scooby spotted a ghost. The firemen and cops got there pretty darn quick, which is good I guess. But Mr. Nosey is staring at me like he wants me to do something. That got me even more pissed off. I mean, I shovel dog shit for a living and this guy acts like I am supposed to rip off my scrubs and reveal the S on my chest????

I can't wait to move. I've had my house on the market for a while now but everyone knows how fucked up the HOA is here.
 
Be careful, i hear that neighbor is going to try to sabotage your property value. apparently he's also very manly and has large testicles

We have a neighbor similar to that. I see it as a positive, because he is home all the time with nothing better to do, he would see if someone was trying to break in when we are gone.

There is a ton of speculation from you about your neighbor's thoughts and motives in your post -- just like to point that out.

He may well be every bit as small-minded and unhappy as you think, but everyone has more than one side, and YOU, Mr. 12-Step Master of the Universe, have lately attained a level of wisdom and self-acceptance that should enable you to deal with him and blow sunshine his benighted way.

Most people, not surprisingly, respond to kindness with some measure of kindness in return, even if it takes them until the second or third try. :laugh:
