Save that and show it to her when she's older.

oh yeah, stuff like this needs to be framed. My mom did this to me when I was in my 30's and I bout' died laughing

In my 5th grade class, we all had to write a letter about what we wanted to be when we grew up and what we liked and all that jazz. The good part - it was a letter to ourselves. And our teacher told us she would mail them to us after we graduated highschool.

Sure enough, she was true to her word. Oh dear lord that was the best thing I've read in my life. I remembered me back in 5th grade, so to see the proof in writing... I couldn't stop laughing. 😀

I wrote a 2-sentence blurb about myself in 1st grade. I basically just talked about computers and cats; I don't think I've changed.

I wanted to be a video game designer. 🙂
I think I may have blurbed about the Fire Department and FBI and similar things. A goal to be an astronaut.

Imagine how shot down I felt when later in life, while I continued to dream about being an astronaut, I learned that color blindness is an instant No-Go for anything involving flying. My dreams of being a fighter pilot, and then move on to NASA... beaten down, crushed, and left broken.

I'm still pissed about that. I can see instrument panel lights dammit!
Well... unless you're using Orange and Amber - often those LEDs look so damn close, if not the same.

Bunch of colorists running this world!

LOL, I was trying to pronounce it with spanish overtones and it didn't make much sense. When I got a little further in the thread and realized it was a misspell of tarantula, it was too cute.

Also, one good thing about this time warp is that it shows who actually reads threads and who just clicks reply right away...
