The tune Get the Party Started is a catchy littel number. Besides, it was written by the lead from 4non-blondes, if anybody remembers them.. 😀

Look, she CAN sing. If she couldn't she wouldn't be where she is today. Her voice is simply different from the teeny bopper pop princesses that are taking over the media. She's my favorite voice on the Lady Marmaduke song (was not going to attepmt to spell marmalade...oh wait). If you've ever seen private interviews with her, she's a charming, kind, and down to earth person, which makes her attractive. I find her most attractive when she's not overdone in Gwen Stefani ghetto threads. I don't particularly like her music, but I am facinated with her as a person. She's a cutie.
 
Hee hee - Artie Lange from the Howard Stern show asked his mother to buy him the Pink album because he, like Howard, was hooked on "Get This Party Started," but too ashamed to buy it himself.
 
Damn you guys are harsh...I d/l'd her new album, and I think it is much much better than the first one - she is trying to get out of the teeny bopper category and do music that has a different sound in every song, as opposed to cranking out ten number one hits that all sound the same. I think most of her new songs are quite well done, each with a unique beat and such. That song "Get the Party Started" was written by someone else, but she wrote her new single. Pretty good singer, and besides, she is a babe...

I think we'll all agree Britney is a major exception in all categories. There are exceptions to many rules, and she is one of them. I stand by my original statement.

OK...well further to that, I don't think Pink can sing worth a damn either. If she writes her own songs, then if not being a good songwriter, she's definitely capable of writing a song that sticks in your head, but I'd hardly say she's made her name on talent alone. Very few popular musicians have these days.

I don't happen to agree with you, and neither do my friends.
 
Perhaps we're having a mid-life thingy going on... I'm forty and find her attractive as well.....And the song is catchy, too.

Or maybe I'm just turning into a dirty old man...
