Well I finally got the game installed and played MP for about 3 hours now and will post what I think of it so far. Don't expect this to be pretty i am no where near a reviewer LOL, this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt if you wish
Gameplay- Very fast paced which I really like, normal COD twitch shooter
Graphics- Tweaked MW2 engine obviously, it is fine with me. Looked good maxxed out,
like as good as a COD game can get without a new engine.
Maps- No where near COD4 quality but we all complain about that I think. The maps I
played all seemed to have good cover and decent routes to get where you want.
I really don't like the respawn system, I think I should put this here since it seems
like on certain maps I was constantly getting shot in the back. Like someone died
and they threw them right behind me. Reminded me a lot of black ops where you
can basically kill 1 or 2 people and turn around and have people on their way.
Guns- Really like the way the guns feel when firing and the damage they do. Compared
to other cod games I think the feel and sound a good bit different.
Attachments- The damn baby monitor is back and I think it is worse then the noob tube
other then that same old stuff with the exception of 2 sights. Same old
COD we are use to
Connectivity- They know it should have ded servers but honestly I had no issue what so
ever getting into games and only had 1 host change in 3 hours. Lag was
almost non existent on my end, had the occasional hiccup here and there
but nothing to complain about at all. Ran pretty darn smooth really
Players- Pc gamers are by far the bitchiest people ever, I thought xbox 360 was bad but
boy o boy pc takes the cake. So many people complaining about why the sky is
blue. I mean really I heard it all. Calling out hackers, lag, ping, saying the game
sucks but still playing. I mean just about anything you can think of people were
complaining about. At least I didn't have to sit there and listen to some stupid
music blaring thru someone's mic, that's a plus.
Perks- I am new so I cant really comment on this, not enough time to really get a good
layout but looking thru them all there is something for everyone. Should be easy
to set up classes for your play style. Think they did good here
Killstreaks- MW2 all over again, some things are set up different but if you played MW2
then this will feel the same. I like the options you have to choose from, with
the right people on your team you can really take advantage to what they
offer you and use it wisely to help get the W
Feel free to post whatever you want. Just wanted to get my opinion out there for the people who question the game. I have played every COD title since COD 2 so I am glued to the series for sure. Maybe this can help someone out in making a decision of buying the game or not.
