My MP3 Player!

I just bought a Sony 1GB flash MP3 player yesterday. It is a great unit and I can drag MP3 files on to this unit WITHOUT using their SonicStage software. The player itself has preloaded MP3 Manager which allows you to drag and drop MP3 files within Windows.

So I have put some good quality MP3 files on it. So here's the thing: I hear this noise (it's not too audible when musics are playing) in between the silence period between each song! This noise isn't like static, it's like a VERY faint frog sound (it's definitely audible when you turn up the volume). However during the playback of musics, I don't notice any degrade in sound quality.

So what do you guys think of this?

-Merry Christmas to you all!
