give yourself any time you need and then start calling immediate family members. After that then you can take another break before proceeding or enlist the help of another family member.

My mom died almost 5 years ago, and I ended up actually only calling 3 or 4 family members. I asked them to handle calling the majority of the rest, which they did. IMO, you shouldnt stress yourself with calling everyone, let other family take that 'burden' off of you.

I went through the same exact situation by myself three years ago. I'd call immediate family as soon as you feel you're able. They'd like to know.
