I feel your pain.

My inlaw family wanted to stay with us for 6 month to a year. My ex & I are now separated after they stayed for 4 months.

The mother inlaw was very difficult to pleased, that make our lives miserable & I just sold my house 2 days ago to give my ex her half.

Get her out now before your relationship go down the toilet.

Wow, if they are staying with you, it should be them that is trying to please YOU, not the other way around. I woulda told your mother inlaw to go F herself if she didn't like whatever it was she wasn't pleased about.

This came up yesterday and I forgot we had a thread on it. A couple has a MIL staying with them well past the weekend she was going to be there. It's extending past Halloween since 'she just wants to see them one time all dressed up in person [their kids]'.

If they didn't have kids there they would have more options. Neither one is happy, but they don't know a good way to get rid of her when she pulls this. Apparently this is not the first time a weekend stay turned to 1+ weeks.
