my monitor makes these weird sounds when i try to play games...

i have a kds avitron 19" 195TF i think its, and when i try to play games with it, it makes these weird sounds that's coming from the back of my monitor...it also makes these sounds when im restarting my comp or something, but it wont make the sounds when im in windows xp... this doesn't always happen though; happened like 3 days ago and it stopped the next day, and just happened again now..
 
sometimes when i start a game i get a ping sound but veary rarely. it only does that for games i have set to a lower resalution or a diferent gamma
 
My monitor makes this really high pitched sound when doing certain things. Of course, this monitor is over 4 years old and has seen HEAVY usage. I would just change the hz settings.
