Hello,
On my second comp aka. POS. The monitor seems to be swaying back and forth. I have the latest drivers installed for everything and have made several tweaks in the display and nothing seems to work. All I know about the monitor is that its a 15" shamrock monitor. And yes, Shamrock is its name.

BTW, I used this monitor like a year ago before I got my new kick ass iiyama vision master pro 450 and the monitor was okay. But all of a sudden its acting up.

...Please help

Do you have unshielded speakers, digital cell phones, anything like that near the monitor?

Yeah, on that comp theres some crap $2 speakers near it. But i disconnected them and took them out of the room and the monitor was still going crazy. also i was working on the comp in the garage a a while back and it did it there also. so im starting to think that the monitors on its last strech.

btw if anyone knows or where to get drivers for a shamrock monitor please tell me. I have always use the default super vga 800x600 window drivers and they have always worked. But maybe if i get the shamrock drivers ill be in a little better shape. Who knows.

I am guessing that this is not a driver problem... You might want to take the computer where there might not be any interference at all. Did it start doing the wave all of a sudden?

0Ikyeller, I had a waving problem with my iiyama Pro 450 when I upgraded my computer several months back. The image from the monitor would produce waves that were notious when I was reading on the internet. I found out that by setting my resolution lower, the wave would go away, but I had a 19-inch!

After asking around for help, a friend suggested that I switch power supply, so I did it and all the waves went away! It turned out that the power supply I had in the upgraded computer was not providing a stable enough of power to my Matrox G400 Max. Maybe you are in the same situation with you Shamrock right now? Hope this helps.

Its your refresh rate on that old monitor, you can set your monitor at 640x480 and then set your refresh at 60hz, should fix it for you.. but there are not drivers for monitors, just the stuff windows does. - I take that back there are some for those "new-fangled monitors" But alas, take a gun and shoot the one you got.
