My mom is getting me an ipod for xmas and claims that there is a diff between apple and hp

My mom came up to me today and asked me if i wanted the 20gb apple ipod or the 20gb HP ipod?


is there really 2 different ipods or did she just read sometihng wrong? if so, which one do I want?

They look different.
 
No there isn't a physical difference between the HP and Apple iPod. The HP one has their logo on the back and is supported by HP. The Apple one is supported by Apple.
 
I have the HP one and I'm pretty sure the warranty through HP is longer and covers SOME incidental damage (although I'm not sure)

Supposedly the HP one accepts some kind of HP skins to change its appearance. I think they're totally identical, though, so I imagine the Apple one would take them as well.
