Just like it says,,, I just moved to a new apt.

And,,, I just realized the kitchen microwave is on the other side of the wall.

Will this interferance damage my monitor (or for that matter my PC equipment) ?

What do you all think?

It's not real bad (image wise) and it's only when the microwave is running (of coarse)

I get the same problem if my cell phone is near my monitor, but you might also want to check to see if they are running on the same power line. Microwaves, vacuums, all cause fluctuations in power (are you using a surge supressor with a Clean Power circuitry?). You really shouldn't be getting radiation coming out of your microwave That much, if you are you might want to have it checked out before it causes you health problems.

What if your monitor is causing interference with your microwave? Explains why your hot pockets don't have that crispy crust, eh?

that craked me up... maybe my pc has overclocked my microwave...

back to the wiring in the apt. ... Each room has its own circuit. So, I'm pretty sure its EMI.

I have the PC on a surge protector. So its not clean powered. I should have gotten one of those
cheap UPS's at Home Depot... (dangit)

ummm,,, but,,, would that eliminate the EMI from microwave?
The wall is only about 8 inches thick.

You know ,,, I'm just gonna move the micro...

Thanks for the input.
