I heard that on the MS website there is a specific page for you to enter your serial number and other info, in order to begin a RMA process. Anyone have a linky? Thanks guys.

Thanks anime....

I have a logitech cordless optical mouse and I love it....the only reason why I got this ms mouse was because it was posted on the hot deals section and I needed a new mouse for my laptop.

Check out Microsoft's support site. You can do it by e-mail too. They'll most likely mail you a new one if it's under warranty.

When I called when mine died, they sent me a brand new one for free, with free shipping.

And since they have a lifetime warranty, they'll be under warranty. Assuming you haven't abused it.

If your MS optical mouse ever breaks or starts malfunctioning, just call this number and press "0" to talk an operator. They will ask you for a # on the bottom of your mouse, take your mailing info and then send you a new one. They do not ask you to send your old one back. My right mouse button broke a couple weeks ago and I called. Worked great. Got my new mouse in about 5 days.

The # is: 1-800-360-7561
Then select "0"

Yup, this lifetime warranty is sweet. I have 1 dead one, 1 that just doesn't work with UT, and 1 that's all good... all for the price of 1.
