ok I have a Abit Ic7-MAX3 and a P4 2.4C @ 2.8Ghz. I have my FSB set to 230(quadpumped) and my Ram is at a ratio of 5:4. Making them run about 184Mhz. with a Latency of 3-8-4-4. (RAM is 2x256 TwinX-PC3700) Their default latency is 3-4-4-8. The specs from the site says they can run up to 233Mhz. So my question is.
Can I set my RAM ratio to 1:1 without any problems and keep the latency. Or should I lower the latency and leave it at a 5:4 Ratio? Which would give a bigger gain? Currently have 2.8v running to the RAM. Should I change that?
Any suggestions?
On the other hand should I leave at a 5:4 ratio and up the FSB to 240 maybe 250? Cooling shouldnt be a problem since im gonna get it fixed soon enough. But right now Im running 44 IDLE CPU temp..
Please any suggestions or tips are appreciated. Thank You.
