Machine Runs hot? I'm not even overclocking, what should I do?
I built my E6600 machine, and then finally decided to check the temperatures. My motherboard temperature is high, not sure what to do.

I have this Lian-Li

Any reccomendations on a fan to cool it down? I was thinking about this Zalman

Will that help my motherboard Temperature, or just the CPU. The CPU is running at a cool 38 degrees celsius, while my motherboard is in the 50s.

Thanks!

Sorry links don't work for me - just message saying page doesn't exist.

High MB temp with low CPU temp suggest you need more airflow through case, but you don't say what MB you are using or what other parts you have in rig so working out how to cool specifically is not easy!

If you know where the MB sensor is that would help (i.e. is it sitting underneath a nice SLI set of 7900GTX cards??).

your links aren't working. Also, have you done anything with cable management to reduce clutter inside the case. It sounds like you need to get air flowing in the case. Do you know how many intakes and exhaust fans you have?

Ridsesy, where would the temp sensor be on a A8N32-SLI? My Mobo is at 44C at idle.

I have an Asus P5w Deluxe motherboard. I went in and tied back all of the cables so there is no clutter. The motherboard should be open enough.

Here is one of the fans I was looking at. Could the sensor just be bad?

I don't want to go out and get a new fan if I don't have to.

The case I have is here

Any suggestions would be great.
