Because people think they can still scalp them on eBay for a profit. It wouldn't surprise me if some of them are trying to buy out all the stock of them so that they are then the only source available to get them from (and thus they think they'll be able to set a higher price).

We'll see. Who's saying he even gets it? Maybe Wal-Mart will pull a Gamestop and not even get enough to cover pre-orders, or maybe a Best Buy and say it was never meant to even show up on the website.
