My local Subway is charging $6 for footlong??

Aren't they suppose to follow the franchise rules? I just went to subway.com nearly all the footlong subs are suppose to be $5, this is in Union City btw

Quiznos does that with coupons--most I have been to do not accept them, but you don't find out until it's time to pay. Most people wouldn't think to ask before ordering.

My local store is 7.99 or something, regular price. Darned expensive suburbia. I have to head towards the slums to find the $5 deal.

the subway that used to be across the street from my previous workplace advertised the $5 footlong deal. the funny thing is, the chicken sub, which had a HUGE $5 circle sticker on that menu (the regular subs), the guy wanted $6, saying oh, it doesn't belong on that menu, it belongs on the premium menu. even though thats the regular chicken sub seen on every subway menu...

The thing that pisses me off the most is that, my store does put on the damn $5 footlongs posters, but when u walk in there theres a paper that hangs below the menu, listing the "$6 dollar subs"

My Arby's has 5 for 6.95... was 5.95 at first when the commercials were on.
On the bright side, my Blimpie is matching the $5 foot long, and their sandwiches are better 🙂
 
Are you sure you chose one of the subs that is $5? It's not even most their subs that's $5, but about half of em.

The Sheetz by me (a gas chain with a large convience store that serves made to order food) now has the, get this, $4 footlong. That's one whole dollar better than the 5 dollar footlong.

Whats next a $3 footlong? Nah that's just crazy talk.
