I've asked you for specific examples of misconduct by the Dr. and you've ignored them each time. You have a habit of not continuing threads and answering posts. And don't claim it's time because it doesn't stop you from posting new threads.

I never said that he committed any misconduct.

I never said that he committed any misconduct.

I also asked for specific evidence of bad medical advice and giving liberal points of view.

Rip no one cares. Youve just wasted like 10 mins of my time. I was trying to pull some sort of inteligent meaning from your post to no avail.
Now i know why. Theres nothing intelligent in it. More importantly no point!
If there was a god i would not be reading your crap. Hence it is not the case.......

He's against vitamins/supplements. That's bad advice in my opinion.

NO its very good advise. But I'm sure the medical journals that come to my house every week/month are wrong. Fact is that most people believe that if they take supplements it will some how mean they can eat less or are somehow more protected. Also the use of supplements with weightlifting can have huge negative affects the body overall. If the public were more informed about what supplements should be used for then I would agree that it?s bad advice. Fact is though that the populace is uninformed.
You don?t know what you?re talking about and he does. Easy enough for you?

Actually, here is what Dr. Edell said about vitamins in an introduction to an 11/2004 report on a research study:

"Many recent studies have found that the amount of vitamins in most vitamin pills is way too much and may actually increase rates of cancer and heart disease. After all if there is no way that you can get these larger amounts naturally in food, that should be a warning to you. This study tried small amounts of vitamins and found that they helped men a little but not women, because women eat better diets. The point is that you do not need large amounts of vitamins but only the amounts you might get if you ate your veggies."

So he's simply recommending not taking high doses of vitamins. Hardly "against vitamins/supplements".

So are you sorry he's off the air now?

Rip, man, you're so hungry for attention. There are professionals that can help you. There may even be drugs for that. Why don't you ask your ayatollah (or his/her/it equivalent in your place of worship) to advise you on god-approved pills or therapists?

I'll never understand what people see in talk radio (or those shouting heads cable news programs either for that matter).

edit: unless you're in a major market (ie: NY/LA, whose radio stations basically set the trends for the rest of the country), I don't think this is really newsworthy, though.

I didn't say it was a rule. It is, however, the hallmark of a spammer.

And I think you need to get a grip given your propensity to theatrics and saying you hope people burn in hell.

Why are you consistently going off topic with your attacks against Riprorin? You should take it to PMs if you have a problem.

I guess some people may give a mighty exception to themselves.

As a matter of fact, some vitimins can be quite toxic when taken in high doses or even in doses not much higher than the RDA.

And, it has come to light not long ago that too much Vitamin A was not good at all, and yet most multi-vitamins continued to contain the full 100% RDA of Vitimin A (even though most people get more than enough from the Average American diet). Only recently have you seen multi-vitimins reducing the amount of vitimin A BELOW the RDA.

The problem right wingers have with left wingers (and our TV/Radio programs which include strictly fact based programs), is that the left uses fact, science, logic, reason, rationality, research, and investigation in our reporting and decision making. These things are the antithesis of what right wing philosophy is all about. That's why when NPR reports unbiased unvarnished FACT, the right wing flips out about LEFT WING bias, because NPR won't include the right wing spin, bias, and lies right wingers like to use in places like Faux News to osbcure the truth (which typically makes them look VERY bad).

NOW, could you imagine a RIGHT WING doctor?

"These leeches should do nicely. And have this snake bite you once a day. Oh and prayer. Do NOT forget lots and lots of prayer!! ... OH! And you might want to try this new drug from the pharmeceutical company I'm invested heavily in, which had previously been banned by the FDA before the Bush Administration FINALLY put an end to THAT useless government agency. Thank you, stay healthy, AND don't forget to eat the new RDA of 20 oz. of hormone enhanced BEEF. That will be $1500 for the office visit. Oh you can't pay? So sorry, we'll have to take that extra kidney you have just sitting around in your gut, we have a quite wealthy patron who is in dire need of it".
