Ok lately I have decided that my pc is way to loud for my confort. I mean if i have the tv on and comp on in my room at the same time i have to practicaly blast my tv to be able to hear it over my computer. I would like to somehow get my system down to something that is quite
here is what i have:
amd xp 2200+ with retail heatsink
ECS KS75A (sis 735)
enlight en-7250 atx case
2x(intake + outake) sunon KD1208PTB1 12V 3000RPM 39.5CFM 33DBA
sparkle FSP300-60BT PSU with an Adda dc brushless AD812HBA70GL fan in it.
some uknown slot cooler below video card that doesnt seem to move much air or be that loud alone.
vantec copper iceburge chipset cooler on my chipset.

My system temp wise idels at 46C CPU and 29C case temp
Under full load CPU is 50C and case stays the same at 29C.

I am thinking of replacing the psu fan and case fans as a start since they seem to be the loudest. Any other ideas? I am trying to not have to spend a bunch of money if posible. Thanks

I went almost completley fanless (besides CPU fan and intake/exhaust)

My video card has a fanless zalman cooler which does a nice job.
North Bridge has a huge heat sink with no fan, still stays cool.

It depends on ambient room temperature, but I reduced my fan voltages and my case still stays quite cool.

Also wouldn't hurt to buy some nice fans, I like the stealths

although i would change the hsf just cause i dont like the stock. replace the 80 mm fans with some 92 or 120mm if you dont mind modding a little.

ya I would like to go to a biger exhaust fan posibly but i dont have a dremel or other moders tools to do so. Anouther thing i just though is software that will allow you to control your fan speeds and the system heats up and down etc. It would be nice because then i could get fans that hook to my motherboard and be able to control them that way. Reason i like the software method is because there Isnt some fancy controler to purchase that takes up anouther bay in my case :)

also i found a crystal led fan that i had purchased awhile ago and never used wich puts out a bit more air at a lower noise rating and has the three wires for rpm monitoring.

lol just realized though all my fan conectors on that board are full.

I found software to called speedfan unfortionently it doesnt work with my board as will probably be the case with most software and this board. Mayby a reobus would be a beter option just wonder if its posible to get my psu fan attached to one of those somehow. Anyone ever tryed that ?
