Me thinks:

5. Amber - Sexual: I wouldn't say this is techno or trance.. but it belongs somewhere in that genre.. very pop-ish

4. Fragma - Toca's Miracle: The famous crowd pleasing phrase "I need a miracle, I need a miracle" I'm sick of it.. no more plz..

3. Darude - Sandstorm: majorly played out.. it was played at my friend's prom, my college semi-formal, my tranciacally-challenged American friends think this is the best techno song ever.. no more!!!

2. ATB - 9pm Til I Come: This song got SoOooOo played out, it actually got banned in some of the majors clubs in Boston, MA.. such as Avalon, Venu, Club Nicole's.. This was about last fall/summer?

And the #1 goes to?

1. Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone: The ultimate played out techno/trance of all time (actually more of Euro-pop, to be anal..) This song got so mainstream, it was even played by Rap stations and Pop stations in MA (Jamn 94.5 & Kiss 108). Most of MTV-fed listeners were lured into the whole electronica genre by this song.. This includes myself as well.. I got into trance music after hearing this song.. let me ask this question, ask this to any Rap listener, RnB listener, Alternative, Rock or whatever.. "WHO DOESN'T KNOW THIS SONG??

I rest my case

don't forget that d@mn "I'm Blue" song.... I've heard that songs to many times to remember.

I hate Top 40 radio, they ruin alot of songs.

How about 'Look At Us Now?' hehe.:p
>>

Thats the one I was thinking of actually. Just about Enuff is gaining a lot of popularity but Look at us Now was over all the radio stations. Even though they are overplayed, I still like to listen to em once in a while.

All of the above... agreed.

So, mOoGotMilk, what techno/trance songs DON'T you consider PLAYED OUT? :p

Also played out in clubs, IMO (don't get me wrong, I still love and listen to them... but they're allllll overplayed at this point):

1. Ian Van Dahl - Castles In the Sky
2. Mel C - I Turn To You
3. Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation (zombie... zombie... zombie nation... argh!!)
4. Delirium with Sarah McLachlan - Silence
5. Robbie Tronco - Billy Joel

Tracks I'm feeling at the moment:

1. Kim Sozzi (Jonathan Peters vocal) - Feelin Me (if you don't already have it, go download it - NOW)
2. Vaiio - Rapture (deep dish mix)
3. Guido - Oh Yes
4. GAZ - Acid Kill Your Brain
5. Myndy K (Johnny Vicious remix) - Where U R

Anyone else have any suggestions? I'll throw out some more if there's interest... Sound Factory last weekend was sick, sick, SICK... :D

Good night,
~kitten >^.^<

stupid america and the no-radio trance/electronica stations

i guess it might be a good thing b/c i won't get tired of alot of the stuff i listen to as quickly....but there is so much of it out there if someone would take the time to make a playlist that is like 72 + hours long then it wouldn't be to bad as compared to normal radio where u hear the same song within an hour or 2

if my friend has 4 months worth of music(if you listened 24/7) 2-3months is trance i think you could come up with a decent playlist that wouldn't be overplayed to hell

<< How many people realize Alice Deejay wasn't the original creator of Better off ALone? >>

Jeez, I always thought she was, and I've been into trance for a loooong time.

Mind to enlighten us as to who originally did it? I'd like to hear that...

DJ Jurgen & Pronti and Kalmani made and produced the song, while alice deejay (the 3 woman vocal band) sang it. None of them is named alice....

pronti and kalmani is awesome live btw!
