My liquor cabinet > yours.

For some reason I doubt that.

<---has two fully stocked bars and over 8 dozen cases of wine.

-edit- although that is a nice collection of scotches. Ardbeg is a little too peaty for me.

I'm almost exclusively a wine and beer drinker, but I do have an occasional scotch. I only say this so you can excuse what might likely be an ignorant question: Why would they age the scotch in a Sherry cask?

I like highland single malt..... But I've only got the regular Laphroaig 10 YO.

But I always drink it when I can get my hands on it.

I'm not at home right now to get pics, but mine ain't doing too bad... I've got SoCo, Crown, Wild Turkey, Jack, Glenlevet, and a few different vodkas in there... Wish I was home to get a pic 🙁 Guess you will just have to believe me 🙁

I have you beat on the wine 😉 Are you aging, blending, or just keeping what you enjoy?

He he, last time I bought alcohol, I was shocked to find they sold it in plastic containers.

I suspect my 1 gallon containers of vodka & whiskey will last so long, they'll sell it in dehydrated form when it's time to restock.

<--needs another box of wine though😉

Very true, but diversity is also very important when it comes to a liquor cabinet.
Not everyone likes single malt and even more don't appreciate a good one.

Adds a bit of flavor to the scotch. Just something different (and good usually).

About two cases are aging, the rest are just for whenever.

Heh, only people who can take a single malt will ever get close to my cabinet 🙂
