My life is a living hell!

No time to rant, too fvckin busy working................. I think we may postpone the filing till the 16th. That just means 1-extra day of prolonged hell!


Oh how I despise the PCAOB, SOX 404, and my Partner who kept me at work till 1am Satruday night!

Yeah, Sarbanes Oxley 404 Certification........

Very good to the partner group, I'm sure our revenues in the Big4 4 will be a landmark year. But the staff is overworked and burdened by this process to no end.

Bonus payouts have helped with the job satisfaction but burnout is still occuring.


And for the tax guys laughing....... I had tax staff on my job testing controls, reviewing the risk & control matrix, and completeing all the tax steps in my database!

wow, this is what i'm looking forward to, though i did an internship last summer and worked 3 weeks on 404 work...it was great, nobody knew how to do anything. im starting full time at a big 4 in august

Been doing this almost 5yrs, it's my 5th busy season. Whats Amazing is that at 12:15am I have my Manager, Partner and two staff right alongside me plugging away.

Then again building a career thats highly valued by others within 5yrs assuring me that wherever I go I'll be a shoe in for a good job is pretty satisfying. Its a much more well respected profession outside othe pulbic accounting arena, those who work it hate it. Those who don;t value the hell outta us!
