No, doesnt make me cry, but it does smell really good. Too bad they wont grow all the time, would love to smell that all the time.
 
they grow naturally all over. We used to get them around our fences back home.

I think you should start harvesting and profit.

All it takes is one flowering stalk somewhere else, and the seeds get carried to your yard. Last time when you mowed you may have chopped down one with seeds and got it stuck the blades, then spread it around.

I've seen plenty of wild chives, spring onions, garlic, lemongrass, even carrots all over the place. Not enough to make a salad out of though. 😛

Thanks, didnt know that, next year then my lawn should be nothing but onions for I mowed pretty much them all down 🙂

My son did pull enough to make a salad with, but going to make dinner with them instead.
