Correct, we bought a LED DLP TV. So it has a DLP chip with LED's providing the colored light instead of a color wheel. It reduces the rainbow effect as well as providing higher contrast on the colors, while providing longevity over the color wheel. Moving parts = bad.

Exactly, its not an easy process. It will take us at least an hour to get a car here we can fit it in, and then it's 30 minutes to the store. So were talking 3 hours or so to go through this process. Not easy, nor fun!

what is the difference between 'open box' and USED? i didnt think open box implied dust/scratches etc., rather just that the box had been opened for some reason.

Open box usually means that the item has been used/returned or in some cases, it could refer to the floor model.
