When I think of a haircut I picture a barber-shop and scissors (or at least dad with electric clippers and a bowl!) not jumping in the shower and running a blade over my head.

Do it! Must confess I had very long hair for about 25 years and most of the time in a pony tail. But you know long hair is a pita to deal with. Now I just have them just about shave me but don't touch my 40 year old beard, I need to keep my freak flag flying.

So you going for the rock star GQ long hair look or hippy dred freestyle?

Not sure yet, I'll kinda figure things out as I go. My hair is kinda curly but not super curly. I don't really like using excessive product but I do put aloe in it as it kinda helps it feel a bit thicker, without feeling greasy or plasticy like gel does.
