I'll probably just twiddle my thumbs all day. I have nothing more I can really do except give my presentation today. Might have to start some good OT discussions to keep me not bored these next couple days.

is it a 'good' last 2 days?

as in you quit for a better job, and not laid off?

if so congrats!

i started my second career job after being at my first one for 5 years after graduating, and I couldn't be happier than I am now!

I don't think anybody has ever been laid off and not asked to leave immediately, less they start stealing or burning things down :awe:

Guy below you is right, it's the end of an internship. A good internship (jobwise) in a really terrible location. If I get a full time offer I have no idea what I'd do. The job is seriously awesome but the south is not my cup of (sweet) tea.

What about the south specifically? And what city? Stay here long enough and you'll love the hot weather and laid back attitude. Soon, you'll be scoffing at the idiocy of all carpetbaggers.

Humidity sucks a big fat one. I hate being away from everything. I'm in Starkville, MS which is actually devoid of a lot of things for being a college town. I have to drive way too far to find a best buy or anything that's not walmart.

I mean it's not terrible, but when you're so used to something like Colorado which is so dry and I'm in the middle of everything... the south just seems so empty and sticky D:
