God why?

I still do not understand why people want to be able to game on laptops.

I would hate to have to carry that monster around. Thank god I only use word/email for work. I'm happy with my 14 inch thinkpad that weights almost nothing.

Why would I want to have to maintain a separate machine for gaming and a separate machine for mobility? This way, my PC is my PC, and it can go anywhere I need it to. When I bought it, it was a good deal, only a $200-300 or so premium over building the same desktop myself. Uses quite a bit less power, too.
