Ceremony will take place at 8:45 this evening on ATOT, donations may be sent to Mozirry, et. al.

Speech will be delivered at 9:00 by Sammy Hagar, with a special solo rendition of "I can't play my laptop while driving 55, not because of the speed limit, but because it's dead and never coming back again"

15.4'' widescreen. I was hoping it's just a battery issue but the AC power unit appears to be TOTALLY shot. A age problem advanced by poor laptop technique (putting it on your lap, putting too much pressure on the AC plug)

is it normal to feel this empty? This was my first dead laptop =(

I think I need therapy...> Idon't know how to watch TV or talk to my wife! HELP ME!!!!!

I keep mine stored in a separate location underground 5 miles so once the action starts I am safe and sound with enough friends to keep me warm. 😉

We have a ritual of shooting dead electronics/appliances. I suppose we really should start filming it.

Same here. .45-70 does a number on dead DVD players.

I fear this situation myself. It's coming, I know it is. I've started geekily deciding what I'll get next and researching it. Since I use a mac now, and don't plan to stop...there's blissfully less to have to research. For somebody like me, I think that's actually a plus.
