my g/f and i went down to maryland to visit my bro at the naval academy for an end-of-year ceremony where all the firsties climb up a big greasy monument....good times. well i brought my cat along for the drive, since school ended up here and i didn't know of anyone to take care of her. i thought that it was going to be a hassle, but she was perfect. spent most of the time sitting or sleeping in my g/f's lap. here are some pics documenting her adventure...

Why, out of curiosity. We travel with our two dogs and they generally just sleep most of the time.
 
My cat HATES riding in my car. He'd always climb into it when I was working on it, so once after finishing up something, I decided to let him come along for the test drive. I hadn't even gotten out of the driveway and he was crying and running all over the car (he was doing laps, under my seat, behind it, behind the passanger seat, under it, then in front of both of the seats, repeat). I had to cut the test drive short because he was really a distraction.

He'll still climb in if I'm working on it though 😀

i'm not sure. a stray had a litter of kittens a while back and my g/f took one in. originally i had told her not to, because i hated cats. she took the cat in anyway, so i told her to keep the damn thing in her room. but Dini is really awesome, so i just decided to keep her in my room. she's super affectionate and just a fvcking trip to watch when she goes crazy and starts running around and chasing things.

Let's just say that in my days in the vet clinic I've seen far more tears from kids than I need to.

Humans have seatbelts.
Dogs and cats don't.
Humans don't go through windshields and suffer multiple serious internal injuries.

Dude, for the cat's sake, keep kittie in the carrier. A cat tramping all aver the dash on the interstate can be distracting. Your kitten is a cutie-pie though! Awwwww.........
