Did your buddy disconnect his sway bars? A guy I know is the owner of the first lifted Unlimited I'd ever seen. It's pretty fawkin sweet. The silly guy ripped it apart with like 100 miles on the odometer maybe?

I don't run a rear either. You can actually see it in the first pic I posted between the two nerf bars Makes it kinda scary when stuff on my discos break, like one of the clips.

A junkyard? There has to be a ton of them in Oregon Plus you don't even have to pay tax

I'm not sure what year the engine is. It's a 225 Odd Fire. The jeep is a 1962. The Four banger was traded out for the V6 and it has a T96-1B tranny (3 speed with electric overdrive) instead of the Auto that was in it from the factory.

It is at least a 1966. Jeep didn't start putting in 225 Dauntless engines until then. Unless they swapped in a non-Jeep Buick engine. I would suggest putting an SM420 behind it. That is a much better tranny. I believe that it shares the same bell housing pattern as the Dauntless and was found in most Chevy trucks from the 40's to the 60's. It is beefy

Don't spose your up for a run with me and the scout before christmas. I use to live in MI and am coming back for the holidays. Ill be in Livonia, might head up to pentwater/ludington/silver lake area for some winter duning.

Possibly, depending on my schedule. The week before Christmas is my last week of school and graduation stuff, then I start working fulltime again Dec. 20th, ACK! I dont have much freetime this year.
