My jaw is squeaking

I have the same problem. It happened to me ever since I had middle ear infection in my right ear. It only "squeaks" under my right ear. I think it's more of a snapping noise than squeaking. The snapping noise is loud enough that it is faintly audible to other people.

Its possible that opening your jaw is causing a rush of blood through a partially occluded blood vessel and the sound of that turbulent blood flow it being coupled into your ear. Would you happen to have any symptoms to suggest pulsatile tinnitus?
