It wouldn't be frustrating if you just obeyed traffic laws.

yeah well...in my defense...the stop sign tickets i rolled through both at about 4 mph or so...not ticket worthy in my opinion...but whatever

the speeding tickets i have no excuse for, however

You still broke the traffic law dipsh!t

and i suppose you stop for a full 2 seconds at every stop sign you encounter?

I wouldn't worry about people like that too much. Naturally everyone here is a perfect driver who follows ALL the rules to a T.

of course, this is ATOT 😛

I pay $50 a month. Then again, I don't drive while my license is suspended, I paid the ONE ticket I've gotten in over 5 years, and no accidents.

give me 3 years and i'll be in the same boat as you...well, cost-wise anyway 😛

Why would an insurance company even insure someone who had a suspended license? What's the point of carrying insurance when you can't legally drive?

Had cover -> got suspended -> cover was still there -> got unsuspended (in theory) -> cover still there.

Oklahoma... I'll be sure to stay away from there...

jesus christ...you people act like i killed someone

no accidents...ever

Well yeah... I'm sure there are a lot worse drivers than you who don't have any tickets. But damn... I can see why your insurance got cancelled. Why do you even care to have insurance? You obviously don't care about having a license to drive or not... speeding... running stop signs. Since when are you so concerned with what the law says? 🙂

because if i smack someone with no insurance that doesn't have uninsured motorist coverage their car is fvcked, they pay for their own medical expenses, etc etc...not to mention i get sued and probably get taken for everything i own

Good for you, increasing insurance premiums for everyone.

no, that would be if i was hitting people and they had to pay out

me getting tickets means i pay more, not you

nice try though

now i get to start a new policy elsewhere

two driving under suspension's, 3 speeding tickets, and a couple of failures to stop at a stop sign will do that, i suppose...

i'm not looking for sympathy or anything...just felt like sharing my frustration with someone, i guess

and i know damn good and well it's my fault, so none of the usual comments about taking responsibility or anything please 😉

Son you gotta not drive. As a motorcycle rider, i feel safer knowing you're not out on the road.

Don't worry, there are plenty of other companies for car insurance.

No, you're in the risk pool, so every stupid little thing you do reflects on the entire risk pool.
Getting more tickets means statistically your age group gets more tickets, which leads to license suspension, which leads to you being a bigger risk, which leads to higher premiums for others in your age group/risk pool.

Regardless if you want to believe it or not, that is the way it is.

i am on the road...and i have a bike as well

all 3 speeding tickets were on the interstate, biggest one being 13 over

there was no traffic except behind me in the case of both stop sign violations

so it's not as bad as it sounds

well in that case i'm terribly sorry to have raised your premium by .0001 cents...you have my deepest apologies

Wow you're a sucky driver. I bend the law on the road all the time, and have never gotten any points on my license. I'm 22 as well.

Pay more attention for the coppers will ya!

i think it's the long hair and gold that makes them pay more attention to me

Probably, but the fact is you shouldn't be breaking the law with cops around anyway. I think the my clean record is due to the fact that I am like a hawk when whenever I speed. I can spot cops long before they can catch me for anything.

/knocks on wood.

Here's the way I always looked at it.

If I was paying enough attention it was OK to speed or slide through the stop sign. If I was paying enough attention I would see the cop and not get a ticket.

So if I got one ticket, I wasn't paying enough attention, and really deserved two ...one for not seeing the cop and one for the deed. When I got one ticket it didn't feel so bad. Eventually I found out I wasn't paying enough attention a lot more often than I thought , so I better stop at all those stop signs.
