First, PIX!
http://www.cyberfrogs.net/photo/index.php?directory=/albums/mediaroom&page=2
installation is complete.
this motherfvcker is like no sub you have ever heard...and i am not
exaggarating. It's clean, its low, its effecient (no super amp requried),
and it hits HARD when called upon....and I am no where near the limits of
the drivers yet. Crazy is the only word I can use to describe it.
Finding Nemo, CH25 - Darla tapping on glass....my stove was walking across
the kitchen floor...my dogs were running for cover.
Flight of the Phoenix, CH6 - The scene where they are caught in the
sandstorm...the bass was causing small tsunamis in the water dishes for the
dogs...in the kitchen upstairs.
I cant even begin to describe LOTR, Beach scene in Saving Private Ryan or
U571...I felt like I was fvcking there!
I thought I was going to be disappointed, boy was I wrong. Even the wife,
yes! the wife, was grinning from ear to ear during Boggieman last night.
It's amazing how it envelopes you in the movie and scares the living sh!t
out of you when it hits.
Attack and decay are almost instantaneous...no boomienes after a bass scene,
since there is no cabinet to resonate. It's there when it needs to be and
totally transparent when its not supposed to be there. I don't think it
would be a stretch if I said that it actually eliminated the muddiness that
was sometimes present in dialog becuase the sub was rumbling.
I've got a few more things to tweak, but i think this is what it's all
about. I am already dreaming up ways of adding 2 more drivers, but I doubt
the house or the neighborhood could take that kind of abuse
cheers!

Edit: I should mention that this was an upgrade from my 220L adire tempest tuned to 15hz...you can see it in some of the earlier pix
