My i7 build

This build is pretty much finalized. Been putting together different builds for about a month now. Just want to see if anybody can convince me to switch anything out. I'm getting a laptop with this build too.

I also want to check and see if anybody knows if my graphics card will fit into my case. I've heard there have been problems fitting some graphics cards because of the hdd case.

It will be used mostly for gaming. I also have a small computer business, so I'll be using it to scan for viruses/spyware, etc as well through an IDE/SATA to USB cable. Anyway, here it is.

Buy two of the 4GB kits for 8GB at $15 more than you're paying for 6GB. The memory will run in a hybrid triple/single channel mode with bandwidth just below triple channel (and no real hit to performance, read the AT "Dark Knight" memory pages for details).

Yes, I do plan on upgrading the graphics down the road, and don't want to have to buy a new PSU each time I do. Also, I like the modular PSU because I want a (fairly) clean case.

520HX is modular - I noticed that about your choice and copied, otherwise I would have recommended the 650TX for $70AR.

The Xigmatek is only $20 more though, and it's got 130 more watts, and more PCI-Express connectors, which I will hopefully be using down the road. I actually already have an OCZ GameXStream 600w that I thought about using for this build (would have to take it from old computer) but I wanted something that will last when I upgrade in the future.

I would imagine that Denithor recommended the 520HX over the Xigmatek, not based on pure "advertise wattage output", but rather on the basis of build quality for the $$.

BTW, Why are buying the MSI laptop instead of a Dell or HP?

1. Right, but I want the extra PCI-E connectors for future GPU upgrades.

I want to have at least 2 6-pin and 2 8-pin PCI-E connectors though. I used Newegg's Power Search to filter by PCI-E connectors to make sure I had at least that.
